Wild Meditations – Dark Canyons Retreat
Wild Meditations is going on a two day trip to the canyon lands of the Blue Mountains and Wollemi. After a mindful day of swimming, ritual, meditation and exploring River Caves Canyon we will gather around a campfire to share stories and embrace the light and darkness inside and out.
We will sleep in the shelter of the cave with no need for tents. After a morning meditation we will hike back to the car (less than an hour) and drive to Rocky Creek Canyon. This is one of the most beautiful canyons in Australia, but unlike some canyons it is accessible to most people. There will be time to really open to the beauty and the majesty of this place. You will be left with a sense of awe and gratitude for the blessings Nature can bestow on us.
We will incorporate a heart opening gratitude practice that will allow the power of the weekend to continue to work in and through you in the days and weeks to come.
You need reasonable fitness (a fit 68 snd an 11 year old have done it) and be okay with boulder hopping and small jumps into pools.

Your guide is Eric Lyleson, psychologist
