The Enneagram, Core Truths and Transformational Conversations

Essential Wholeness recognises the Enneagram as a symbol of a whole person. Each of the types as they awaken tends to be in tune with a particular core truth of what it is to be more fully human. Generally at the heart of any transformational conversation comes an experiential realisation that helps us have a practical understanding of these (or other) core truths.

Type Nines remind us that existence is peaceful and loving and we just need to relax to feel that peace and love.

Type Ones remind us the serenity we feel when we recognise that everything is unfolding perfectly.

Type Twos remind us that we are all one and what we do to others we do to ourselves.

Type Threes remind us that life doesn’t give us more than we can handle and we have capacities beyond what we have ever previously thought.

Type Fours remind us that there is only one of us and we all have a unique role to play in life.

Type Fives remind us that our essence is silent spacious that allows us to know things we didn’t know we could know.

Type Sixes remind us that it is only thoughts that separate us from eternity and it is in our vulnerability that we find true safety of belonging.

Type Sevens remind us that everything in life is impermanent so we might as well enjoy each moment to the fullest.

Type Eights remind us that we have the freedom to choose to try to control our life and be in constant conflict, or surrender to Divine Will and live in harmony.
