Eric Lyleson, MA is a psychologist in private practice on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
For over thirty years he has been personally and professionally exploring which psychotherapeutic and spiritual practices are most useful in helping people free themselves from psychological suffering and awakening to their full human and spiritual potential. He works from the perspective that most psychological problems are signs that people are out of sync with their evolving self. Depression, anxiety and addictive behaviour resolve when people listen to what they really need and want.
He passes on this wisdom in his book Essential Wholeness, Integral Psychotherapy, Spiritual Awakening and the Enneagram
“Eric Lyleson somehow manages to distil a lifetime of experience, spiritual practice and psychological learning into a very accessible, comprehensive model of human psychology and behaviour. Not since Ken Wilber have I read such a concise and useful synthesis of psychology, spirituality and ecology. I find it incredibly useful in my work as a therapist and as a guide on my own spiritual journey.” Richard Chambers, PhD clinical psychologist, co-author of ‘Mindful Learning’ and ‘Mindful Relationships’
Eric Lyleson has written a beautiful and helpful book on living life as a journey of awakening. I highly recommend it!” Stephen Gilligan, PhD, author of ‘A Courage to Love’
