Family Constellation Day – February 16
Beacon Hill Retreat, 10 Tuscan Place, Beacon Hill
The Enneagram helps you to wake up to your spiritual nature while supporting you to grow up into your full mental, emotional and physical potentials.
The Enneagram is best known as a system of nine personality types. It clearly shows how different types of people get stuck in different kinds of problems that require different sorts of strategies.
The Essential Wholeness model of the Enneagram especially helps discern what methods are best for each personality type under their particular circumstances.
Type 1. Perfectionism and being too critical of yourself and others?
And you tend to be rational, idealistic, principled, purposeful, self-controlled, and judgmental.
You will benefit from doing more of what your want and less of what you think you should.
Type 2. Poor boundaries and feel like you give more than you get with people?
And you tend to caring, interpersonal demonstrative, generous, people-pleasing and possessive.
You benefit asking yourself what are your goals and preferences and asking others for their help.
Type 3. Overworking and trying to impress people too much?
And you tend to success-oriented, pragmatic, adaptive, excelling, driven, and image-conscious.
You will benefit from slowing down and feeling what meaningful things are missing in your life.
Type 4. Moodiness, envy and fear of rejection?
And you tend to sensitive, withdrawn, expressive, dramatic, self-absorbed, and temperamental.
You will benefit from stepping back to see the big picture and feeling what you are grateful for.
Type 5. Difficulty dealing with emotions and people’s expectations?
And you tend to intense, cerebral, perceptive, innovative, secretive, and isolated.
You will benefit from staying present to your emotions and needs by feeling into your body .
Type 6. Self-doubt and worrying about worst-case scenarios?
And you tend to committed, security-oriented, engaging, responsible, anxious, and suspicious.
You will benefit from doubting your fearful thoughts and remembering how capable you can be.
Type 7. Trouble slowing down to deal with problems and connecting more deeply with your self and whoever and whatever you are engaged with?
And you tend to busy, fun-loving spontaneous, versatile, distractible, and scattered.
You will benefit from from committing yourself more fully and working through difficulties.
Type 8. Being too domineering and intimidating others with your anger?
And you tend to powerful, dominating, self-confident, decisive, willful, and confrontational.
You will benefit from getting in touch with the vulnerability behind your tough exterior.
Type 9. Wasting time with insignificant things, hiding out in your comfort zone and avoiding conflict?
And you tend to easygoing, self-effacing receptive, reassuring, agreeable, and complacent.
You will benefit from giving yourself permission to being selfish and ask yourself what ideally you would like if you were guaranteed success and what small steps your can take in that direction.
Essential Wholeness takes a different approach to the Enneagram. Rather than just being a system of personality types, first and foremost it is a map of a whole human being. It can show us how to be psychologically and spiritually more healthy and well rounded human beings.
This perspective of the Enneagram recognises everyone has access to the qualities associated with the different numbers. In fact as we evolve through life we travel around the circle drawing on the strengths associated with each type. Our personality tends to overly identify with those strengths and do too much of a good thing, causing us to get caught in vicious cycles.
This approach to the Enneagram helps you access your essential wholeness and evolve to your fullest potential.
