Wild Meditations

River Joy

Please join our Wild Meditations Community for a day away from the pre-Christmas crowds on the spectacular and nurturing Wollangambe River in the wild beauty of the Blue Mountains.

Do yourself a favour and set aside your precious time to connect with silent spacious beauty of the Blue Mountains, as well as, your true spiritual nature.

Enjoy a deep immersion in the wilderness and the wild mystery of the true nature of your Being.

We will journey together and in solitude and experience a rich sense of human community within the eco-community of mother earth.

You will earn meditations that allow your appreciation for life to overwhelm your heart and allow you to sink into the deep peace of silent stillness. And in the process reawaken your child-like sense of wonder that allows you to feel the awesome magic of being alive on this beautiful planet.

The day will include:

  • mountains of fun
  • connecting deeply with nature
  • enjoying the company of like-minded people
  • learning meditative practices that help to deepen your experience
  • cultivating states of appreciation that lead to profound gratitude

We will drive to Mt Wilson from where we walk about 45 minutes to the river. Throughout he day we will pause for a meditation and time to really settle into the power and peace of this beautiful place. We will then spend a few hours paddling and floating on our lilos (airbeds) and boulder hopping. With time to bask in the sun and explore other meditative and mindfulness practices. Near the end of the river journey there is a magical deep dark slot canyon to explore.  There is about an hour walk back to the car. The first part up the hill is fairly steep and requires a little scrambling.
